Women Hate Car Dealerships

Women go to pieces when they visit car dealerships according to a new survey.

Over a third of women say they feel they are more likely to get ripped off by car dealers said Quicks car retailer, who carried out the poll.

43 per cent feel patronised by salesmen and third hate visiting car dealerships.

1,000 female motorists filled out the survey and based on results, over 40 per cent said they wouldn’t buy from a car dealer unless a male friend or family member went with them.

Over a quarter of the women surveyed said they felt uncomfortable looking around a car dealership with salesmen and a third believed they were not taken seriously.

More than 10 per cent of the women polled said that buying a car from a dealership was as intimidating as suffering road rage, with one in six saying the attitude of the salesmen made them feel uneasy.
